About
Let’s Go Seymour Films is an independent production company based in Winnipeg, led by John Seymour. We work across narrative and experimental filmmaking, with a focus on projects grounded in careful development, collaboration, and responsible production practices. Currently, there is ongoing development of Seymourville, supported by an Indigenous Screen Office Development Program grant to John Seymour. Let’s Go Seymour Films also provides full producer services on emerging filmmakers’ projects, overseeing development, funding strategy, budgeting, scheduling, and post-production.
*This Clown Ate, Vol. I is a short horror-comedy created through analogue experimentation. Shot on Super 8, the project was developed as an exploratory work, prioritizing process over polish and embracing the unpredictability of analogue production. The film marked an early step in John Seymour’s producing practice and was the first project to carry the Let’s Go Seymour Films name in its credits.
